This itinerary gives you an exceedingly good wildlife tour through India’s Kipling Country. Northern India is
home to many national parks, each with a unique character, and which provide numerous species with a safe
heaven . On this trip we visit three tiger parks and the bird sanctuary at Bharatpur , to enjoy some
magnificient wildlife in its natural surroundings .
Each park sustains a healthy Tiger population , and the
abundance of prey animals and bird life make for a fascinating spectacle. True tiger country , these parks are
ideal for viewing both predator and prey ,and with seven included game drives and more optional ones , our
chances of seeing this magnificent beast are greatly increased .
The magnificent forts and palaces with the
royal animal like the Lion and the Tiger staying in the thick forests is a spectacular sight. Away from the
parks, we sample the extraordinary culture of the reason as we visit the temples of Khajuraho with their erotic

Day 01 Delhi
Arrive and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 Delhi
Morning half-day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - The Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi. Jama Masjid - the
biggest Mosque in India and drive past Red Fort and tricycle tour of Chandini Chowk.
Afternoon half day city tour of New Delhi. Visiting drive past President House,Parliament House (House of
Representatives) and India Gate - War Memorial (stop for photography), Qutab Minar - 72.55 meters, high Victory
Tower, onto Bahai Temple (lotus temple) Humayun's Tomb- built of red sandstone and is a first substantial
example of the Mughal architecture, Laxmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu temple built by the Birlas, a leading
Indian industrialists.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 Delhi-Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur (05 hrs. drive) - the pink city of India. The capital of Rajasthan was given a
color coat of pink, a century ago in the honor of a visiting Prince, ever since it has retained the pink color.
Enroute visit Amber Fort-remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements
and beautiful palaces. Climb up to the fort on the back of an Elephant or by jeep. Upon arrival at Jaipur
check-in at Hotel.
Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace - where the former Maharaja still resides in a part of it, but rest
now serves as a Museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by a great astronomer Sawai Jai Singh
onto drive past through Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds). Overnight at

hotel.
Day 04 Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur
Morning proceed by road to Sawai Madhopur. Arrive and stay at Hotel. Sawai Madhopur is the beautiful 10th
century fort of Ranthambhor. Surrounded by the Ranthambor National Park a Project Tiger reserve, the imposing
Ramparts of the fort soar above they too have tales to tell.
Late afternoon jeep safari to visit the sanctuary .Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Sawai Madhopur

Late afternoon jeep safari to visit the sanctuary again.. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Sawai Madhopur-Bharatpur
Early morning jeep safari to visit the Sanctuary again.
Morning leave by road for Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also known as Keoladeo Ghana Naional Park, India's largest
water bird sanctuary. Bharatpur is a heaven for migratory birds e.g. Siberian Crane, Openbill Stork, Paint
Stork etc. Arrive and stay at Hotel
Late afternnon Rickshaw ride ( tricycle) to visit the sanctuary.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Bharatpur-Agra
Early morning visit the Sanctuary again.Morning leave by road for Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur - Sikri (40
kms. From Agra) - once the capital of Mughal Empire and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Its
fortifications and Palaces are in a wonderful state of preservation.
Arrive and stay at Hotel.
Afternoon half day city tour to visit the world famous TAJ MAHAL, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1652
as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 yrs. to create this jewel and onto Agra Fort - four
successive rulers helped create this massive fort.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 Agra-Jhansi-Khajuraho
Morning transfer to railway station to leave by Shatabdi Express for Jhansi.
Arrive Jhansi and transfer by surface to Khajuraho( 03 hrs. drive ).Enroute visit Orchha -a city of Legends
where a series of Medieval Hindu Temples situated on the river Betwa, are some of the finest examples of
Bundela architecture where temples looks more like Forts and Palaces. Orchha was founded in the 16th century by
the Bundela chieftain Rudra Pratap and was once the capital of one of the largest and most powerful Kingdoms of
Central India. Jehangir Mahal built during 17th Century, Raj Mahal, Raj Praveen Mahal, Ram Raj Temple,
Chaturbhuj Temple, Suner Mahal are some outstanding examples of architecture that dominated Bundelkhand. After
sightseeing and lunch onto Khajuraho. Upon arrival at Khajuraho check-in at Hotel.

Day 09 Khajuraho-Jhansi - Umaria
Morning visit the world famous Chandela Temples. These Cluster of temples depicting human passions and Famous
for their erotic carvings-built in the 10th and 11th centuries AD. Of the 85 original temples, 22 still survive
a joyful ode to life, depicted some of the most exquisite specimens of Hindu Architecture and sculpture.
Afternoon transfer to Jhansi Railway Station to board Kalinga Utkal Express at 1940 hrs. by AC Sleeper with
packed Dinner ( overnight in t

he train ).
Day 10 Umaria- Bandhavgarh
Arrive at 0616 hrs. at Umaria railway station and transfer to Hotel at Bandhavgarh.
Bandhavgarh National Park is in the heart of the Vindhyan Mountain Range. forested by Sal groves. The forests
of Bandhavgarh can be classified as most deciduous and also dry. Grassy meadow patches occur in the valley and
along the streams Bamboo is found throughout. There are more than 22 species of mammals and 250 species of
birds. The Park is famous for Tiger, Panther, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Barking Deer, Chinkara, Nilgai etc. The
common birds Crane, Lesser adjutant, Black ibis, Parakeet, Kingfisher and Indian roller etc.
Late afternoon jeep safari to visit the Sanctuary. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Bandhavgarh
Early morning Elephant ride to visit the Sanctuary.
Late afternoon jeep safari to visit the Sanctuary again. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Bandhavgarh-Kanha
Morning leave by road for Kanha.
Arrive and check-in Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 Kanha
Early morning jeep safari to visit the Sanctuary.
Late afternoon Elephant ride to visit the Sanctuary. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 Kanha-Jabalpur-Delhi
Morning leave by road for Jabalpur. Arrive and visit Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat (23 kms From Jabalpur).
Transfer to Railway Station to leave by Gondwana Express at 1540 hrs. by AC Sleeper with packed
Dinner.( overnight in the train )
Day 15 Delhi
Arrive at Delhi at 0725 hrs.at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station ( Delhi). Transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon at leisure or visit the State Emporiums to buy souvenirs. Evening transfer to airport to fly back
home / onward destination.
