The festivities and celebrations in the North - Eastern states of India are a colorful reflection of the people
and their lives. Throughout the year, festivals are celebrated by different people in different ways, most of
them centering around their modes of living and livelihood.
This festival falls on the same dates every year ( 31st January to 11th February )
Day 01 Kolkata
Arrive and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 Kolkata
Kolkata , capital of West Bengal is a nerve centre of intellectual and human values where many modern movements
began in literature, art , cinema, theatre, science, politics and industry.
Full day city tour visiting Howrah Bridge - landmark that denotes the city of joy. This hanging bridge is an
architectural marvel of the country. The recently built Vidyasagar Setu, another architectural marvel, connects
both the banks of the Hooghly River, onto Victoria Memorial built of White Marble.
It was opened by Prince of
Wales in 1924 and has a statue of Queen Victoria, with other innumerous exhibits. Indian Museum and drive past
Dalhousie Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, National Library, Shaheed Minar, Eden Garden, Fort William and drive
past city centre.
Optional visit to Mother Teresa's home of Charity.
Evening transfer to international airport to fly back home / onward destination
Day 03 ( 31st January) Kolkata-Dibrugarh-Roing
Transfer to airport to leave by air for Dibrugarh.
Arrive and drive to Roing (150 Km). Early lunch at Tinsukia.
Check in at Circuit House / Eje Breeze Tower/ Lake Resort.
Overnight at Roing.
Day 04 (1st February) Roing (Reh Festival)
After breakfast drive to Rehko, the main venue to attend the Inaugural Ceremony of REH FESTIVAL. In the
evening, visit some of the villages and join in the traditional dances.
Dinner and overnight at Roing.
Day 05 (2nd February) Roing (Reh Festival)
After breakfast drive to nearby villages and participate in the celebration of the festival.
Post lunch, visit local market or at leisure. Evening campfire followed by dinner.
Overnight at Roing.
Day 06 (3rd February) Roing-Pasighat
Morning drive to Pasighat (150 km 8hrs). Enroute visit tribal villages.
Overnight at Circuit House or Hotel Siang, Pasighat.
Day 07 (4th February) Pasighat-Along
Morning drive to Along (100 km, 6hrs drive). Post
lunch visit the Adi (Galong) Tribal villages.
Overnight at Circuit House or Hotel Anchal Bhawan, Along.
Day 08 (5th February) Along-Daporijo
Morning drive to Daporijo (160 km, 8hrs drive). Post lunch visit the Tagin Tribal village.
Overnight at Circuit House or Hotel Kanchenjunga, Daporijo or Dumporijo.
Day 09 (6th February) Daporijo
Full day at Boori boot festival of Hillmiri tribe
Overnight at Circuit House or Hotel Kanchenjunga, Daporijo or Dumporijo.
Day 10 (7th February) Daporijo-Ziro
Morning drive to Ziro (180 km 8hrs). Enroute visit tribal villages.
Overnight at Hotel Blue Pine, Ziro.
Day 11 (8th February) Ziro
Ziro the headquarter of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh is surrounded by Apatani villages, Dibbo-
Hija- Bulla-Hari and Hong village. Enroute visit Nishi tribal villages at Yazali.
Overnight at Hotel Blue Pine, Ziro.
Day 12 (9th February) Ziro-Itanagar
Visit Itanagar (216km 8hrs) the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh. Also visit Jawaharlal Nehru Museum.
Overnight at Donyi Polo Ashok, Itanagar.
Day 13 (10th February) Itanagar-Tezpur
After breakfast drive to Tezpur (216 km 8hrs).
Check-in at Hotel Luit, Tezpur.
Day 14 (11th February) Tezpur-Guwahati
Morning drive to Guwahati to connect flight to Kolkata.
Arrive and transfer to international airport to fly back home/onward destination.
