Day: 1 (Christchurch)
Arrive, Christchurch. You will be met and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle. Enroute proceed for a half day city tour of the "Garden City" of Christchurch. Pass the Christchurch Cathedral which dominates the Cathedral Square in the centre, and follow the tram line to the Canterbury Arts Centre in the Gothic buildings that were previously occupied by the original University of Canterbury. Nearby is Christ's College, one of the oldest boy's boarding schools in New Zealand, next door to the Canterbury Museum and Botanical Gardens. Drive up to the "Sign of the Takahe" on the Port Hills where you will enjoy a panoramic view across the city to the patchwork quilt of the Canterbury Plains and the snow capped mountains of the Southern Alps beyond. Check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day: 2 (Tekapo)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and depart Christchurch for Lake Tekapo. Travel across the flat Canterbury Plains to Ashburton and Geraldine where you pass through gentle rolling hill country to the MacKenzie High Country. Stop at Lake Tekapo and visit the "Church of the Good Shepherd", on the shores of Lake Tekapo. Check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day: 3 (Wanaka)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and proceed to Wanaka via Mount Cook. Follow the shores of Lake Pukaki to the Mount Cook National Park, home to the highest mountain in New Zealand - Mount Cook. Here there will be time for an Optional scenic flight over the Southern Alps with a snow landing on the Tasman Glacier subject to the weather conditions on the day. Depart Mt Cook and arrive at the picturesque resort town of Wanaka, set on the shores of Lake Wanaka and surrounded by high mountain ranges and the Mount Aspiring National Park. Check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day: 4 (Wanaka)
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest day is at leisure for the many various optional activities, such as a visit to Puzzling World; water-skiing; trout fishing; boating; paragliding; water sports and swimming; or climb Mt Iron for a great view. Overnight at hotel.

Day: 5 (Queenstown)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and transfer to Queenstown. On arrival, check into hotel. Rest day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day: 6 (Queenstown)
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for half day city tour including visit to the A.J.Hackett Bungy Jump base at the Kawarau River Bridge, where there will be an opportunity to watch those keen to throw themselves off the bridge; continue on to the Gibbston Valley Winery, one of many boutique wineries that now dot the valleys around Queenstown; visit the arrow town historic gold mining village before returning to Queenstown. The Rest of the day at leisure for some of the many optional activities available in the "Adventure Capital" of New Zealand. Overnight at the hotel.

Day: 7 (Christchurch)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and transfer from hotel to Christchurch Airport by private vehicle to board your flight for onward journey.
