Chattisgarh is situated in the heart of India, is an Undiscovered Paradise . The place is endowed with a rich cultural heritage and attractive natural diversity with many waterfalls, caves and rivers. It is dominated by tribal population which is the highest in the country. Tribal people live in dense forest, hill tops, slopes and plateaus. These people are backward in social, economic and political field but now show high aspiration. For those who are tired of the crowds at major destinations, Bastar, with its unique cultural and ecological identity, will come as a breath of fresh air. Natural attractions are being promoted with increased local participation and encouragement to herbal gardens and natural health resorts. The mystique of aboriginal tribal ethno-medicine which predates even Ayurveda has been preserved and practised over the millenia. Special Attraction : The Bastar Dassera ( specially in Jagdalpur ) is the traditional celebration of the gaiety of the tribals. One can witness this festival in the third week of October Month.The focus is principally on Sri Danteshwari Mai and her significance in the life of this land and its people.
Day 01 Delhi
Transfer from International airport to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 Delhi- Raipur - Kawardha
Morning departure transfer to the Domestic Airport to leave for
Raipur.
Our representative will meet you at Raipur airport from where you will drive 120 Kms. to the
former Princely State of Kawardha. Afternoon familirization tour of the Palace and nearby cultural sites including the captivating
Bhoramdeo Temple complex. Return to the Palace at sunset followed by a welcome drink to meet the royal family with traditional Chhattisgarhi dance and dinner.

Day 03 Kawardha
After breakfast, a well-versed Palace guide will accompany you on an introduction to the secrets of Kawardha's little-known natural and tribal world. You will meet the gentle and friendly
Baiga people, the principal indigenous
forest tribe. Enjoy picnic lunch with them. In the evening return to the Palace and after wash and change proceed for the dinner with the
royal family.

Day 04 Kawardha - Raipur - Kanker
Morning at leisure.
After early lunch drive to
Raipur. Arrive Raipur and a short visit to
Raipur's Mahant Ghasidas Museum before leaving for the former princely State of
Kanker. Upon arrival at
Kanker Palace, the
Maharaja's family will greet you. Over drinks and dinner, family members will be happy to interpret and explain the folklore and tradition of the State they once ruled. They will also introduce you to a performance of the traditional music and dance of the region.

Day 05 Kanker - Kondagoan - Narayanpur - Kanker
After your choice of Indian or English breakfast at the Palace, the
Bastar tribal experience begins. South of Kanker you and your royal guide climb the forested Keshkal Ghat which marks the border of Bastar 500m above the plain. You will encounter here the special nature of North Bastar with a visit to a
colorful weekly market. It gives you a great opportunity to meet the local people. At
Kondagaon and Narayanpur discover some of
Bastar's finest handicrafts and the people who make them. Lunch will be a picnic in the deep
green sal forests. An early evening dance by youthful members of Bastar's unique 'ghotul' dormitory system completes an unforgettable day before a star - lit,
return to Kanker and a late dinner at the Palace.
Ghotul is a better-known event in tribal life and they have aroused considerable interest from anthropologists to study the tradition. Both boys and girls are allowed to spend a night out in the ghotul (kind of rest house) every week. Ghotuls are regarded as a shrine, built by Lingo Pen, a Gond (a tribe) cult hero. Here, the unmarried boys of the village learn songs and dance from their leader. Besides, every week, there is a dance carnival as well in which the girls also take part. Moreover, It is treated like a pilgrimage.

Day 06 Kanker - Jagdalpur
After breakfast, proceed to
Jagdalpur, Bastar's main town and former capital. After freshening up at Bastar Royal farm, you join royal family members for lunch. In the afternoon, a royal guided tour of historical Jagdalpur and the
Anthropological Museum is completed by a sunset idyll at the Chitrakoot waterfall, Bastar's very own
'Niagara' on the
Indravati River : you will also visit some of the local
Bison - Horn Maria tribe, renowned for their spectacular
ceremonial dancing. Conditions permitting, a barbecue is served under the stats in authentic Bastar style. You will be entertained by a performance of the tribal people, before returning to your hotel

Day 07 Jagdalpur - Kanger Valley National Park - Jagdalpur
An early breakfast allows time for a visti to the rich forests of the Kanger Valley National Park, the enchanting Tirathgarh Waterfall and the extraordinary stalactite and stalagmite caves. Kanger retains the original intensity of the forests that once covered this whole region, and you will picnic in the natural habitat of leopard, Tiger, Sambhar, Bison and the Bastar Hill Myna. Also explore forest tribal people in their natural habitat. Witness Jagdalpur's unique handicrafts before dinner at the hotel with your royal guides.Overnight stay at Bastar Royal farm.
Day 08 Jagdalpur - Raipur
After breakfast visit the bustling markets of Jagdalpur before your return to Raipur. On the highway, we again pass several handicrafts centre for those last-minute souvenirs of your Bastar Experience. Stopping at Kanker, a farewell late lunch with the Maharaja's family before proceeding to Raipur. Arrive and relax at the hotel.

Day 09 Raipur - Delhi
After breakfast transfer to Raipur Airport to leave by air for Delhi.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel.
Day 10 Delhi
Morning half day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - The Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi. Jama Masjid - the biggest Mosque in India and drive past Red Fort and tricycle tour of Chandini Chowk.
Afternoon half day city tour of New Delhi. Drive past President House, Parliament House (House of Representatives) and India Gate - War Memorial (stop for photography), Qutab Minar - 72.55 meters, high Victory Tower, onto Bahai Temple (lotus temple) Humayun's Tomb - built of red sandstone and is a first substantial example of the Mughal architecture, Laxmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu temple built by the Birlas, leading Indian industrialists.
Evening transfer to international airport to fly back home/onward destination.
